The last film I have seen

Last week I went to cinema. In 2010 I only went twice, because my husband likes different kind of films than me. I always choose romantic comedies, he likes Western, Cartoons, Mude Movies however…
The film we saw was “Tres metros sobre el cielo”. Perhaps we can translate like “Three metres over the sky”. Is a screen version of one novel of the famous writer Federico Moccia.  It´s a very interesting story if you see it in a sociological way.
It´s an impossible love story between a rich girl and a troubled boy. She always follows the rules, she belongs to upper social class while he belongs to the low one. He is a bad boy, always in trouble situations, illegal races, courts…but they fall in love and live a beautiful story. During a short time they enjoy together but it´s very difficult to continue, there are many pressures, social control from her family, and finally she broke and begun another love story with a rich boy.
I enjoyed this film. My husband was bored. It´s a matter of taste.

My Christmas Holidays

Every Christmas Eve, since 1988, my father invites us to enjoy one week in the snow, in Baqueira Beret. I learnt to ski when I was 13, but my dad was 40! He is wonderful and I admire him because he loves challenges, he continues learning things, like computing, become skipper…and now he is 68! He continues practicing ski, I left this sport three years ago because I felt down and I broke my Knee-meniscus and ligaments. After, I was four months in physiotherapy sessions every day.
It was so hard, so painful and I decided don´t ski again, at least during a lot of years.
My three brothers, one of my sister in law and my older nephews, Jorgito, 7 and Dani, 5 practice this amazing sport one week in Christmas each year. In the meantime I play with my little nieces, Maria and Alex, 3 years, I read, I walk with my husband, I go out for dinner with all the family, and we have a wonderful time all together.
Yesterday, the last night of 2010, we went to dinner to my parent´s hotel.  After we saw the New Year in the restaurant and ate one grape on each chime of the clock.
We will return to Madrid, Valencia, Murcia and Las Palmas tomorrow, our last day together.
In 2011 we will repeat, God willing.
